More flats on sale
Developers continue to push out more flats as secondary home sales slow.

Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016) is launching Century Link II at Tung Chung this month, which mainly features one- to two-bedroom flats.

SHKP said there would be more room for price appreciation for the 932-unit development compared to phase one of the project, due to rising prices of primary and secondary homes in the area during the past eight months.

The remaining 20 to 30 units at Century Link would also be released soon. Flats at the 1407-unit project average at around HK$11,000 per sellable square foot.

Henderson Land Development (0012) priced 25 units of Parker 33 in Sai Wan Ho. The units, mostly studio and one bedroom apartments, range from HK$4.19 million to HK$5.02 million after maximum discounts.

The combined 75 units from the first and second batch will start sale on Saturday. Meanwhile, Cheung Kong Property (1113) Stars by the Harbour saw enthusiastic response at show flats opening over the weekends, being oversubscribed within two days.

Primary home transactions soared up to 295 cases over the weekends thanks to the launch of several projects.

Sun Hung Kai Properties' Century Gateway at Tuen Mun fetched a record HK$41.37 million, or HK$24,068 per square foot, for a 1,719 ssf duplex with three parking spaces. FRANCES SIT
