Rental values of some shops on Russell Street in Causeway Bay are down by 25 percent, data from the Rating and Valuation Department shows.

And among striking fall-offs at what has been the hottest of streets, a 795-square-foot unit at 38 Russell Street has an annual rental value of HK$13.6 million against HK$30 million a year ago.

Also in retailing, Chinese Estates (0127) sold two ground-level shops at its new One South Lane project in Sai Wan for HK$74 million.
