Town Health gets new board
A new board and chairman for Town Health International Medical (3886), whose trading has been suspended for two years, has been appointed following the resignation of several top executives. Crystal Choi Ka-yee resigned as chairperson and executive director, to be succeeded by Wan Yiqing, vice president of China Life Healthcare Investment. Francis Choi, a major shareholder of Town Health, resigned as a non-executive director and deputy chairman earlier this month. Non-executive director Chen Jinhao has been appointed as the new chief executive, previously serving as a managing director at China Life Private Equity Investment Company since 2016. Town Health is reshuffling its board to avoid being delisted from the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong as its suspension period expires on January 31.
