Prices increase for Lohas Park flats

<p>CK Asset (1113) will launch 285 units at Sea to Sky in Lohas Park next week, raising the price of 50 two-room units by 2 percent.</p><p>The average price is HK$15,996 per square foot after discount and CK Asset said prices for three- and four-bedroom flats will rise by around 5 percent in future sales.</p><p>Meanwhile, Henderson Land Development (0012) will launch sales for 80 apartments in Two.ArtLane in Sai Ying Pun on Saturday, with a minimum investment of HK$5.63 million. The batch includes 72 one-bedroom units and eight studio flats, ranging from 214 sq ft to 287 sq ft.</p><p>And Shimao (0813) and Centaline Property will launch flat sales for Shimao Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau Port City on Saturday, offering around 600 units in the first batch. The cheapest flat costs HK$1.8 million.</p><p>In a secondary sale, Global Brands (0787) former chief executive Bruce Philip Rockowitz, husband of singer Coco Lee, bought a 1,290-sq-ft apartment in Stanley for HK$45 million or HK$34,884 per sq ft.</p><p>Meanwhile, the shop vacancy rate in four major commercial districts - Causeway Bay, Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok - surged to a record high of 12.6 percent during July and August, according to Midland IC&amp;I (0459). The agency estimates there are over 4,000 vacant shops in Hong Kong.</p><p>In other news, the one-month Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate rose to a one-week high of 0.40018 percent.</p>
