Wheelock Properties has received about 1,000 checks for 68 units on offer at its Grande Monaco project in Kai Tak, with the batch nearly 14 times oversubscribed.
The developer released 38 units in the third price list of the project on Saturday at an average price of HK$24,897 per square foot after discounts.
Wheelock will offer the 68 units for sale tomorrow. The units, measuring between 446 sq ft and 961 sq ft, are offered at HK$10.86 million to HK$24.25 million after discounts.
In Sai Ying Pun, Henderson Land Development (0012) will offer eight units at TwoArtLane for sale on Friday. The units are priced from HK$6.09 million to HK$8.32 million, or HK$29,732 per sq ft to HK$32,111 per sq ft, after discounts.
Meanwhile, Eminence Enterprise (0616) acquired a building at 93 and 95 Catchick Street in Kennedy Town at HK$190 million by public auction. The six-story building was built in 1962. Its ground floor units are retail shops and first floor to fifth floor for domestic use served by one common staircase.
In Prince Edward, Lofter Group acquired a building at 13-15 Ki Lung Street for about HK$140 million.
In Deep Water Bay, Nan Fung Group sold a 3,641-sq-ft flat at 8 Deep Water Bay Drive for HK$251 million.
In the secondary market, a 863-sq-ft flat at South Horizons in Ap Lei Chau sold for HK$17.8 million, or HK$20,626 per sq ft.
And in Quarry Bay, a 706-sq-ft flat at Taikoo Shing fetched HK$16.56 million, or HK$23,456 per sq ft.
In the commercial property sector, Midland IC&I (0459) recorded nine transactions at 50 major Grade A office buildings in February, down by 25 percent from a month before.
